If you read my blog even a little bit regularly, you probably recognize Brad and Lauren from their
Lake Michigan engagement last month! Since then the wedding date has been set, the venue booked, and all the major details are falling into place! I'm so honored that they asked me to not only be their wedding photographer, but Josh and I will also be in the wedding party! It's going to be a busy day but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
Even though Christmas is ten days away, the temperature in Columbus during Lauren and Brad's engagement session on Saturday was almost seventy degrees. Thank you Ohio for your predictably unpredictable weather! We started off at Indian Run Falls, and then moved into downtown Dublin for the second half of the session. Between Lauren's gorgeous white tulle skirt, save-the-date Starbucks cups, and candy cane hearts, we had the perfect setting for a dreamy Christmas engagement session.
Brand and Lauren say "I do" in less than six months until and I literally can't wait. Taking their engagement photos only made me more excited about their wedding, and it reminded me why I try to get to know all my couples personally! Capturing special, intimate moments between two people is not a job I take lightly, and it's so much more meaningful when we've talked about their unique love story that fuels the bursts of laughter, soft kisses, and stolen glances. Watching this amazing couple grow in their love and commitment for each other has been such a blessing and I'm so thankful to call them friends! Love you both!
