Cranberry & Evergreen New Year's Eve Wedding | Beavercreek OH
Where do I even begin with Zach and Meredith?? These two are such a sweet couple and it was an absolute honor to capture their wedding day. Zach's older sister Jerica is one of my closest friends, so technically I've known Zach since he was a little kid! When Meredith first contacted me about their wedding, I was absolutely thrilled, and the more I got to know them through wedding planning and their engagement session, the more I enjoyed spending time with them. Zach and Meredith are both goofy, quirky, and not afraid to be themselves. They love to laugh and talk in funny voices to each other, and their gorgeous "winter woods" themed wedding day had no shortage of joy and laughter.
You can tell the character of a person by the demeanor of their closest friends, and Zach and Meredith had one of the sweetest and kindest bridal parties I've ever had the pleasure to spend the day with. Every single person was encouraging, positive, and didn't utter one single complaint during bridal party portraits despite the freezing cold and INSANE wind! You can see the girls' dresses whipping back and forth, but we got the shot and had a ton of fun doing it. I really mean it when I tell you how wonderful everyone was to work with! Special shoutout to the bridal party for putting up with the chilly weather, and to Meredith and Zach's parents for raising two incredible children. This couple deserves each other, and I know they will accomplish amazing things together!
Some people called me crazy when I told them I was photographing a wedding on New Year's Eve, but there's no place I would have rather been. Josh even DJ'd the wedding, so not only did I have an absolutely amazing ending to 2016, but I got to celebrate alongside my husband at a job we both love! Some highlights of the evening included Meredith's surprise first dance with her brother, and also when she won the award for most epic bouquet toss ever by throwing it OVER the entire crowd of girls on the dance floor and into a crowd of innocent guests observing from their table. It was the best way ever to ring in the new year. Congratulations Meredith and Zach!!!
