Bright Coral Summer Wedding | Barn on Enchanted Acres
Another weekend, another wedding at the beautiful Barn on Enchanted Acres! Celebrating the marriage of Allyse and Ricardo was such a privilege, and ever since we met the week before for their engagement session, the excitement just kept on building. Allyse and Ricardo both have hearts of gold, and it was such a treat to watch them care for their friends and family all throughout their wedding day! Despite the steamy hot August weather, the energy leading up to the ceremony was high, and they even began with praise and worship. I don't see that often but I absolutely love it!
Allyse and Ricardo's wedding day was special because every guest was treated like family. They were family. The atmosphere was casual, hospitable, and everyone was welcome. It felt like home. Allyse worked tirelessly to make sure every detail was taken care of, and when the day arrived, the important ladies in her life made absolutely sure that everything was perfect. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Allyse gave her mom a special embroidered handkerchief right before the ceremony. On a day when she could have taken all the attention for herself, she chose to take time to give and to say thank you.
Ricardo is just the same. He's a lucky guy to have married Allyse, and he definitely knows it. I'm pretty sure his favorite part of the day was when he got to finally whisk his bride away from the crowds, the attention, and the grandeur. He couldn't wait to marry her, and the fuss of a wedding was all extra. Just as Allyse and Ricardo honored the Lord through their wedding, I have no doubt that they will continue to honor Him through their marriage. They have an incredible support system surrounding them, and when push comes to shove, they understand true sacrificial love.
Allyse and Ricardo, thank you for allowing Josh and me to help tell this chapter of your story! I just have to give another little shout out to Karen, who absolutely killed it with the floral design, and every other person who helped make your day so special. I hope these first days of marriage have been more wonderful than you could have dreamed, and that you enjoy re-living those first few moments when you said I do, forever.
Those shoes though!!!! All the heart eyes over here.
