An Elegant Royal Purple Wedding at Jorgensen Farms
"I think God put this day together for us, exactly like this."
These were the words Shannon said to me as we looked out over the rolling hills at Jorgensen Farms while we waited for Rick to emerge from the reception hall with flat shoes to replace Shannon's sparkly heels. She was right. The forecast had called for rain the entire week leading up to her wedding day, but we were standing underneath a warm golden sun, a bright dot in a sky full of puffy clouds that every once in a while would pass overhead. It was perfect. Everything was perfect.
Shannon and Rick, I couldn't have asked for a better wedding to capture on Saturday. I adored absolutely every detail, from your sweet smiles as you walked down the aisle towards each other, to the stunning floral arrangements brightening the room around every turn. Rick, I loved how relaxed you were, and the way you bring a quiet, steady strength to compliment Shannon's bubbly personality. Shannon, I love that you looked like a Disney princess in your huge white dress, and the laughter that dances in your eyes when you're with the people you love is so special.
I'm so happy to have been the one to capture the uniting of you two in marriage, and to have celebrated alongside your friends and family who love you to pieces. I hope you're having a wonderful honeymoon and I can't wait for you to see these images and re-live your special day!
